Frequently asked questions
Long-press on an empty area of your Android home screen, then tap 'Widgets'. Scroll until you find 'Pleet: Focus', then tap and hold the widget to drag it onto your home screen. The widget is resizable — long-press it after placing to adjust the size.
Open the app and tap the gear icon on the home screen to open Settings. Under the profile section, tap 'Change' next to your name. You can update or remove your name at any time.
Flow Level tracks your total lifetime focus minutes. Every 100 minutes of completed focus time earns you one level. It's not a daily streak or score — just an honest, cumulative record of how much focused work you've put in over time. You can see your Flow Level in Settings and in the Weekly Report.
Yes. On the session confirmation screen, select 'No Timer' to start an open-ended session. The app will count up instead of counting down. Your session is saved when you tap 'Done'.
Pleet: Focus uses a wakelock during active sessions so you can glance at your timer without unlocking your phone. This is intentional — seeing your progress without interaction is part of the focus experience. The wakelock is automatically released when the session ends.
Go to Settings (gear icon on the home screen), then tap 'Sound'. You can choose from Soft Rain, Busy Café, Ocean Waves, or Nature Birds. Each sound has a preview button so you can listen before selecting. You can also mute sound at any time during a session without pausing your timer.
No. All data — your focus sessions, goal settings, name, and history — is stored locally on your device. This is intentional. No account is required, no data is transmitted, and your focus history stays private. If you switch devices, your history does not carry over.
iOS is coming soon. The app is fully built — we're in the process of preparing for App Store submission. If you're on iOS, check back soon or watch for an announcement.
